Sport Physiotherapist

Colm graduated from Ulster University (Northern Ireland) with an Honours Degree in Physiotherapy. He then went on to complete a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine at Ulster University. 

 

Colm is currently working through his UK physiotherapy in sport accreditation and his EXOS performance specialist accreditation. He has also obtained a qualification in dry needling. 

 

Colm has joined us from one of the leading private practice clinics in Northern Ireland where he was acting as lead physiotherapist. Prior to entering private practice, Colm worked for several years in the National Health Service in the UK which gave him broad range of experience across pre and post-operative, musculoskeletal, community and aged physiotherapy.

 

Colm has worked with many high level Gaelic football, soccer and rugby teams in Ireland and the UK. He has a huge interest in long term athletic development and injury reduction and the incoroporation of strength and conditioning into rehabilitation. Colm is passionate about rehabilitation of lower limb injuries, his Masters dissertation piece on Hip and Groin pain was selected, published and presented at the ‘Return to Play’, First World Congress in Sports Physical Therapy in Switzerland.
